I STARTED MY FIRST JOB IN ONTARIO AND THAT I WAS THE DESIGNER FOR FORBES. I WAS ABLE TO BE A PERMANENT TYPE DESIGNER. I DESIGNED THE THINGS FROM CASINOS IN LAS VEGAS TO YACHTS AND THINGS LIKE THAT SO I GOT A REALLY GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF ENGINEERING. ALSO I OPEN THEM ON GRAPHIC DESIGN STUDIO. I GOT BURNED OUT AND MINISTER TO TEACHING IT. I HAD NO IDEA ABOUT TEACHING SO I WENT TO SCHOOL AND GOT MY CREDENTIALS AND ENDED UP TEACHING AT THE CHARTER SCHOOL WHICH IS A UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT. WE LOVE THAT EXPERIENCE. IN THE MEANTIME ALSO I WORKED IN MENTAL HEALTH FOR 10 YEARS AND DURING THAT TIME I HAD A VERY GOOD UNDERSTANDING ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH. IN A MENTAL HEALTH IS REAL AND I WAS ABLE TO DEVELOP AND CREATE COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMS FOR PEOPLE THAT HAVE MENTAL ILLNESSES THAT WAS VERY HEARTWARMING FOR ME. WE HAVE MISTER JOSHUA BROWN. JOSH IS NOT A STUDENT IN THE FONTANA SCHOOL DISTRICT. JOSH COMES IN FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF LUVERNE WHO OVERSAW THE MAKER. IF YOU TALK TO JOSH HE KNOWS THE MACHINES AND THEN OUT. THERE'S TWO DIFFERENT BUILDINGS SO IT WILL MAKE SENSE WHEN YOU SEE THE VIDEO. WHAT IS THE MAKER SPACE? IT'S A COLLABORATIVE WORKSPACE WHERE PEOPLE COME TOGETHER TO CREATE ONLINE THESE SPACES THAT PROVIDE ACCESS TO TOOLS AND MATERIALS AND TECHNOLOGY THAT MIGHT BE TOO EXPENSIVE OR DIFFICULT FOR INDIVIDUALS TO OBTAIN ON THEIR OWN. THE COOL THING ABOUT THAT IS THEY ALREADY GOT OVER 200 REGISTRATION OR SO IT WAS VERY CALLS BUT WE CAN ONLY SEE ABOUT 100 KIDS AND WHAT WE DID WAS DIVIDED THE KIDS PER WEEK FOR THE FOUR WEEKS. THE KIDS HAD A GREAT TIME FOR THE FIRST WEEK THEY SAID ROBOT BUILDING IN THE SECOND AND THAT WAS PRETTY EXCITING BECAUSE THE KIDS ARE OUT THERE AND TEAMS. THAT'S A PROGRAMMER ABOUT THAT AND IF THEY LOSE THEY HAVE TO GO BACK AND PROGRAM THEM AGAIN AND TAKE THEM APART IT WAS SUPER LOUD AND THEY WERE READY BUT I'M SURE ALWAYS WAS LIKE WHAT'S GOING ON IN THAT BUILDING. IT WAS COOL SO THAT WAS REALLY COOL THAT WE COULD GET THROUGH THAT JOSH AND I DO TOWARDS DAILY. WE'RE BRINGING IN COLLEGE STUDENTS TO SUPPORT THE INNOVATION EMPIRE. STUDENTS ARE INTERESTED IN COMPUTER SCIENCE WE ALREADY HAVE ONE STUDENTS I'M WORKING WITH UCR AND VALLEY AND SAN BERNARDINO THAT ARE RUNNING THIS PROGRAM TO BRING IN STUDENTS TO REALLY SPEARHEAD THE CAREER PIPELINE FOR THEM. IT WAS REALLY EXCITING TO BE THERE WITH THE MUSIC AND THE CUPCAKES FOR THE FIRST 95 STUDENTS. I WENT AROUND TO THE OTHER SCHOOLS AND IT WAS JUST EXCITING AND WELCOMING FOR STUDENTS AS THEY WOULD CAME ONTO THE CAMPUS. IN 1928 IS ON THE SCHOOL WAS BORN.
